I recently auditioned for a show. I got in, and luckily I got my first main part ever! After meeting the cast I found out that in the show my character has a love interest. At first, I didn’t really care too much about the guy who is supposed to be my boyfriend in the show. However, the more we rehearsed (not one on one, as a whole cast singing songs and stuff) the more I started to look at him and begin to developed a crush on him. Now I have a full crush on him and I was wondering if he possibly feels the same? We’ve made eye contact a lot, and I just started noticing that we kinda copy each other’s body language. For example, if he is resting his chin on his hand, I will notice that I’m doing the same thing. I believe I have even caught him looking at my butt when we go over choreography, but I’m not sure on that yet. I’ve only seen it two times. Anyways, he has so many lines in the script saying how pretty he thinks my character is and how he is in love with her. I read about it and it said actors who play eachothers love interests eventually fall in love for real because of that reason (they have to pretend they love them). So I don’t know, what do you think? And what are some signs I can look for to know if he really is starting to like me or not?
