I do it all the time i even go back like a minute later and check, have some water, sit down then get back up and check the pantry as well and here i was thinking that not many people do that.
Good question. I do the same thing. The answer for me is that it comes out of habit. It goes to show me how used I am to going to the fridge to look for food for mindless eating. Maybe it's a good thing that there's nothing in it to eat!

I'm hoping every time I go back, I'll spot something I didn't spot before, like the platter of Cherry Jell-O I've been craving for the past two days.
Yes I do. I keep going back & forth between the fridge and the cupboard. I don't know why, I just do.

i wouldn't, but i would go to the cabinet next to that- always pakced with different foods.
because im hungry and im thinking maybe there will be some magic happening and then i find food :)
I go there to think and reflect, and to make sure no one moved in because it gets roomy in there.
