In addition to paying for the entrée, they will be paying for your cocktails and dessert and will more than likely order an assortment of appetizers for the group:

a) I would definitely order the most expensive entrée on the menu just because I can. Hey, I feel I work hard and deserve the best.

b) I would not purposely order the most expensive entrée on the menu, but I would definitely get what I wanted. If that meant ordering a lobster or a steak then so be it.

c) I would not order the most expensive entrée on the menu because I think it’s tacky and rude. It shows no respect for myself or my employer. Since they are nice enough to take us out, I am going to order like I would if I were paying for dinner.

d) I would follow the lead of everyone else. If they are ordering expensive dishes then I would do the same. If they were being modest about it then I would too. I certainly wouldn’t want to be the oddball.
