If a company developed a way to modify a person’s DNA to guarantee certain attributes in offspring, should that company be forced to make their technology available to everyone who wanted it? What are some of the ramifications of widespread use of this type of genetic engineering technology on humankind?

every rich persons daughter would be a barbie doll, and son a hulk. no company can be forced to make what they do available to everyone, so they'll basically cater to the very rich to help make their offspring perfect.

Nope. Companies make products for profit. The people who want the product are going to have to pay for it... until the trade secrets are rediscovered and the patents expire, at which point other companies can offer similar but less expensive versions.

Imagine a world without Huntington's Disease, phenylketonuria, colorblindness, albinism, hemophilia, and plenty of other genetic disorders.
Now imagine that a disproportionate number have genius level IQs and the athletic abilities of Bruce Jenner.
No, in my opinion, they shouldn't. It would disrupt with the natural balance of life. God created every person in a certain way and to Him, they are perfect. For us to manipulate a creation of God in a way that is presumed "perfect" by us, it would just be morally wrong.
That's not completely wrong
