The US is still the biggest economy by a long way and has the biggest impact on other countries. The EU is the only economy that challenges it for number one if you consider it as one country economy. Japan is the second larges but China is rapidly overtaking them for the number 2 spot..
China is growing very quickly and it takes demands for items from most of the world. Industries from all over the world place demands for cheap items from China they work extremely hard and their economy is growing along with their popularity.
The United Kingdom's currency seems to be worth quite alot i heard from 1 sterling you can get 2 American dollars. I believe the increase in employment and the influx of immigrants into the UK is part of the reason they have flourished but they will be hit with the 2008 great depression along with America so this will not last.

Yes China is growning very quickly, but if you look at how they live in certain parts of China (like bejien) you'll see that the people are not allowed into the water because they say something is wrong with it, and from them constantly being in the coal mines and in the coal factories, you can easily see that the air over there is very bad.
If I had to go with two countries, I'd have to pick Japan and North Korea.
i think of you will ought to assert the U. S. and China, except you're keen to allow the entire of the ecu as one economic section. in spite of everything, that's the U. S. and China/ecu heavily observed via Japan, Brazil, India, and Russia.
England... their Euro is worth more than our dollar. Japan... they are more technologically advanced as seen by their automobiles, cellphones, and electronics that many countries are importing.
