Well we've known each other since about kindergarten and for the past year or two I've been feeling attracted to her and I don't know how to tell her.... Ive tried to tell her but I always back down because I get scared she won't feel the same way. We have a few classes together and in each one we sit together no matter what. It's like were the closest of friends in the world! I just don't want to tell her because I'm afraid she won't like me back. But I want to tell her somehow and I can't figure it out! Im thinking about writing her a note and putting it in her locker or her pencil case but I don't know what to put in the letter, like how to write it, or to tell her I like one of my best friends without mentioning her and see how she reacts and stuff but I don't know what to do I came close to telling her on friday but I ended up saying something about a song that heard last week or somethin I don't know, but still I seriously want to tell her that I like her because if she likes me we'll actually be together and I won't be so stressed out anymore, she's on my mind like 24/7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to figure out how to to tell her without it getting awkward between us. I need some serious help!

I think you should write her a note (typed if she knows your handwriting)
tell her your a girl and you see her a lot and are "madly in love" with her and want to be hers
if you guys are best friends im pretty sure you'll tell her about it and if shes into it or not or you can "joke" around and say something like "I used to have a crush on you" and see how she reacts to it. My bestfriend told me she was in love with me and poured her heart out and it turned me off (disgusted me) maybe because she was ugly .. idk but go for it if your feeling risky?
First ask yourself how you like her, do you love her as family, or as a girlfriend? Do you find her sexually attractive, or just as a girl. All these things come into play here, and don't just jump into it without knowing. Also, if you do love her as in you want to go out with her, do you know how she feels about the lLGBT community, and then try to see if she is a lesbian or bi. If you don't know those and she turns out to be straight, or a homophobe this could cause a lot of problems with your current relationship.
And on one last note, its usually best to tell people this kind of thing in person, you get your answer right then and there, and you don't give them time t really think about it. So if they hesitate too much, you might want to start thinking too.
