Your state department of labor, or equivalent, has a division for addressing wage complaints.
Update: I just reread your details. You claim the time you clocked out on 12/10 doesn't match the time you clocked out on 12/12. That isn't a problem.
What does 'shaving' mean? Not paying you for all of what you worked? Illegal. Giving you less hours than you have been getting? Perfectly legal. An employer can give you no hours and needs to give you no reason.
Recheck to make sure the clock in/out times are for the same pay period, then approach your boss about the difference in receipts. If the issue can't be resolved with the DM speak to their boss. But do not go over their heads first. That is just asking to be fired.
Step one - confront them and ask if there was a mistake
You can file for partial unemployment if you are making 40 hours and you've been cut to 20 you can file for that and get partial unemployment
You "think"???
All you need to do is keep a log of when you clocked in and when you clocked out.
If the total hours don't match what you are being paid, you would ask the payroll department in a professional / non-accusatory manner.
Remember - lunches are unpaid.
Breaks may be unpaid depending on state law and company policy
Typically hours are rounded. They may be rounded - the most common rounding is to the 1/4 hour, 1/6 hour, 1/20 or 1/60 hour
Hi,
I think I am missing hours on my paycheck. I have that I worked 38.75 but was only paid for 35.5. Can you please review your records and get this corrected.
