Find the product of (7x − 5)*(7x − 5)
I am very bad at algebra and can't figure this one out. Please help.
you use FOIL! (first outer inner last)
7x times 7x is 49x^2.
7x times -5 is -35x
-5 times 7x is -35x
-5 times -5 is 25.
so then the answer is 49x^2 - 70x + 25
then i dont think you have to factor that to find what x is.
(7x − 5)*(7x − 5) = 49x^2 - 70x + 25
49x^2 - 70x + 25 is correct.
(7*x − 5)^2 = 49*x^2 - 70*x + 25, answer!
