I've heard it, and I roll my eyes. Then they tell me that I'm being rude, or "that's the thing, because you're gay you won't listen to me"... and I tell them, they're being contradictory. They do have something against gay people, it's OK, I prefer to hear the truth than to hear you lie about it so I can listen to you put me down. And it's not that I won't listen to them, it's that I've heard enough. The arguments are invalid, and I won't listen to anymore... especially if they've gone on five minutes without letting me get a word in edgewise.

The good thing is that I hear this more often than not from people who genuinely have nothing against gay people. Two examples, the most common I've heard:

I have nothing against the LGBT community, but I can't stand the diva gay men.

I have nothing against the LGBT community, but I don't agree with the lifestyle.

I can listen to those, and I'm ok, because they aren't telling me I'm wrong, they just don't like it, don't think it's right, and it's their opinion. End of sentence, next topic, please.

Obviously you have met very few Christians. Honestly, if you want to all get along stop bashing Christianity. I'm bisexual but hate it when gays, atheists, whatever bash my religion. I have nothing against them. Most references to homosexuality occur in the old testament in the bible. However, the new testament ends most of those old rules. Mainly the only thing Jesus wants is for people to follow the fruit of the spirit, the ten commandments, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Honestly, if being homosexual is a sin and so is lying well everyone is going to hell then. I don't believe God really cares as long as you love one another and build each other up. God wants love, not hate. So stop bashing the Christians.

Christians are idiots :) Well most of them are . They quote that stupid book all the time when they don't like something but they never really live by it . It's just a false excuse to hate gays .
