You can never forget a person that u love, but u should try to forget the past. It does not mean that u have to move right on with your life, because it well help u later on in life.
There is someone out there for everyone and you just have to know that. there was a old saying I grew up with if you love someone let them go If they come back there yours that's how you know.....It only hurts for a while and if you love her you will never forget her but you will learn from her and use it later on in life...but be friends with her

If she feels like you don't care much then she will be the one to start competing for your affection. This advise comes from countless experience! I even gave the same advise to my son back in 1st grade when he said the similar thing about his girlfriend. Next day he said, "Dad, it worked, thank you!"

Find a prettier thinner gal and make the ex jealous.
Then move on, you can't force a relationship on someone now can you. You have to move on, maybe there is someone out there that is better for you.
Have a talk with her. If you lvoe her that much then tell her how you feel and maybe she will tell you what is up or why she is acting a certain way.
