I was talking about my geometry class and I wrote "this is so boring and stupid" and someone wrote 와 그래. I know '왜' means why, but 그래 means 'really?' right? I could be trippin, but this makes no sense to me. Can some one tell me what he means?

It means "Why, what's wrong?" with concern. The person who wrote it wanted to know why you thought the class was boring and stupid in a casual manner. :D Hope that helps!!!
It literally means "Why like that?" Its a way of saying "Whats wrong?"
그래 is a shortened form of 그렇게 which means "like that." When translated it becomes "right/really?" But it actually means "Like that?" Its a word when translated into english loses its exact meaning and has to be interpretted as such.
it means "whats wrong?" but when you separate them the two words have a different meaning.
