Like Paul, we strive to go where the people are, whether at bus stops, on busy streets, or in marketplaces. Yet, going from house to house remains the primary preaching method used by Jehovah’s Witnesses. So why don't other Christians do the same work as the Apostle Paul.?
Acts 5:42 says also “Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.”
Don't these scriptures verify what a true Christians main purpose is by using Paul's example?

sometimes I see people of other religions giving out bible tracts for a week or so but they don`t have the Holy Spirit behind them and they are gone after a few time never to be seen again.
I see the Mormons but they hit one house here one there.
no one can do the house to house preaching work like Jehovah`s Witnesses.
Many don't know that Jesus didn't preach only in the synagogue, but that he sent the apostles and the disciples out in twos.Do people ever wonder how he felt about people’s spiritual needs? Matt. 9: 36 "On seeing the crowds he felt pity for them, because they were skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples: “Yes, the harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore, beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”
Matt.10: 7" As you go, preach... Into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is deserving..." that is what he instructed the disciples to do. Everyone deserves an opportunity to hear
the "good news of the kingdom," and we go out by two's just as Jesus instructed us and try to give a
through witnesses to all who take the opportunity to listen.
We are called "witnesses," because we witness and yes, we preach from door to door, as ministers.
Because the rest of the world actually realizes the way preaching was done in the first century.
The original word in the bible "kat'oikon" means "in private homes". The Watchtower translated it " from house to house" in order to pat itself on the back.
Yes christians in the first century preached the kingdom by going to private homes and speak with people who had shown interest, while listening to public speaking. They would eat with them and often even sleep in that home.
Many christians today do exactly the same, they visit people in a social setting, and discuss spiritual things. THAT is actualy preaching
This dragnet operation that the Watchtower invented of going to knock on every strangers doors, is a complete waste of time. People are simply not receptive to those type of approaches.
Oh what an ignorant and toxic horror that you present!
I guess that if you have no Love in you, people won't come to you asking what that Love is all about.
So if it isn't really there, you fake it with words and concepts, hypocritically pushing the God of which you know nothing!
And the ignorance and hypocrisy spread like toxic waves upon the earth...
'True Xtians' are the ones that Love! Their Love/God shines so brightly that people come to them wondering, wanting, Healing...
Be Loving, and not so sinfully vain, and someone might mistake 'you' for a 'true Xtian'!
"If it cannot be thought with Love,
it doesn't need to be thought!
Don't think it!
If it cannot be spoken with Love,
it doesn't need to be said!
Don't say it!
If it cannot be done with Love,
it doesn't need to be done!
Don't do it!
If the day cannot be Saved by Love,
the day isn't worth saving,
offer it with Love!!"
"So why don't other Christians do the same work as the Apostle Paul (and Jehovah's Witnesses)?"
Good question.
Some religions have acknowledged the Christian obligation to preach in public places and from house to house Acts 5:42; Matt. 10:11-14; Luke 9:6), although this is often left to a *limited* group of missionaries or clergy to fulfill... not every member.
However, every member who is identified as one of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES heeds Jesus' instructions when he told his followers to "make disciples of people of all the nations," and when Jesus himself set the example by "journeying from city to city and from village to village, preaching and declaring the good news of the kingdom of God." (Matthew 28:19, 20; Luke 8:1)
Concerning the extent of their preaching this good news of the Kingdom, as of 2013, Jehovah's Witnesses number nearly 7,600,000 and are in 239 lands worldwide.

And, once again, we see how the crazy christers refuse to allow for the fact that many people DON'T want to hear their delusional nonsense.
Come to my door sparky, and I may let the dogs out on you. Bring steak sauce.
No means NO !
Some how that translates to let the priest do it .
