Everyone find this difficult, and it's a lifelong process. Just keep on fighting, and don't lose faith when your ego wins at one moment. It's all nature of human beings, just we know it's sinful and want to improve and it's good. Make some friends in the church, and you can find good partners to fight together.

Live with it...just like trait/desire we try fighting against such as eating fatty foods, staying up late etc.
