how would i find the equation of the tangent line for (2x)^3−6x+1 at x=−2?
for calculus 1, i have a final on tuesday and i sort of forgot how to, having learned it at the beginning of september
Update:never mind, i was just forgetting to multiply the 18 by (-2). it's y=18x+33. but thanks anyway hayharbr

Then plug in -2 for x in the original equation to get the point of tangency's y coordinate.
Then use point slope form.
