Hi! A miscarriage is hard no matter what stage she was in during the pregnancy. Any past 2 weeks is where the bond between Mother and fertility begin. No matter if they knew or not when a miscarriage happens it takes a toll on the emotional well being of someone. When it happened to my wife, along with a d and c along with a stomach procedure ( which is a lot to handle on her ) it really caused separation issues. Losing a baby, a piece of family you feel lost and lonely. My wife really the second it happened tried to push it all away but I noticed she was really protective of her stomach, of course there’s a scar there but what no one understands is that she feels like she did wrong, she couldn’t protect the baby enough, she doesn’t let anyone near her stomach and it completely makes sense. I tried something, I put my hand on her stomach, it gave me a bond to understand what she was going through it felt like I was protecting her, how she felt, and the scar. It calms her, everyone wants to touch the stomach when there’s a baby there but how about a loss of a baby and emotional state. My wife had her miscarriage 5 months ago and I keep my hand there everyday. Hoping to try to get pregnant again. Touch is key, skin to skin really becomes a part of the healing process. Miscarriage healing is time sensitive don’t rush it, we’re going on 5 months and research shows at about 4 months is where you start to see recovery and a new light. I pray for you guys man .

They need time, so just be there to talk or carry on a routine.
