i am going to GUESS on this one...If this does not answer your question please submit another one and explain it better...IE: what account are you talking about....how long have you had it....why is it inactive...etc
This is Yahoo's link that covers most of what is below..
Once a yahoo account is deleted you will have 90 days to reactivate it by calling 866-562-7219.(6a-6p PST) Make sure you get a LIVE operator by punching the right number(I have the best luck with #2) All your present information in the deleted account will be held IN that account for that 90 days.
I recently found that if you can remember the ID and Password you can try to log in within a certain time and Yahoo will give you steps to reactivate the account.
Normally, once the 90 days has elapsed, your account information will be deleted and non retrievable. If it is close to the 90 days you might still give it a try.

Note: If you leave your account dormant for 6 months...plus 2 months for each year you have the account Yahoo will delete it for you.... http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&id=SLN...
After that time you might be able to use the same ID if it has not been taken by someone else.
good luck
