They do not routinely test for STDs. In most cases you have symptoms that make you go into the doctor to get checked out. Often an infection will show up on routine Blood work, such as the CBC. If YOU think you have an STD there is nothing stopping you from going in and getting tested. I would have thought you would have done that before accusing your husband of infidelity.
These days not often. Go get yourself checked either at your PCM or at a Tricare approved Clinic and pay the co-pay. Then you go after him if it is necessary. Just remember some things are not STD but a reaction to things or something that has been dormant
Wrong. The days of post liberty 'Pecker Checking' are long, long gone. They do not test for anything medical unless the person shows up at sick call and requests it. You are covered by Tricare - just show your dependent ID......you can go see any doctor of your choice, for any reason, and just pay the $12 co-pay. And the records from that visit - neither the military or you husband can get them without written consent from you.

Voluntarily. That's it.
Plain and simple. They don't. Your husband is flat out lying to you. There is no random or mandatory testing for STD's.
They will see you in sickbay if YOU complain of symptoms and request a visit. Otherwise, no one cares where you're sticking your pecker off duty.
its only upon request. so he's either clueless as to what he is peeing in a cup for when his number comes up, or he's hiding something.
