It's totally understandable that you have a hard time trusting God. So often, we tend to view God from our experiences with our earthly fathers.

God is VERY different from your dad. He sent His Son Jesus to save you from hell. He wants you to know how much He loves you and how He's not like your dad.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience with your dad. Try to remember that just like there are good dads and bad dads, God isn't like the bad ones. He's better than even the best earthly dads.
