Odysseus lied to Cyclops about His name, saying his name was Nohbody.So he was deceptive and dishonest.
But the result showed the 'cunnung' and smartness of Odysseus as the Cyclops, when calling his fellow neighbors, after getting blinded, answered to them...."Nohbody" blinded me. They assumed all was well. The "Odyssey" and the earlier "The Illiad" are great reading and fantastic stories. Enjoy them!!!

His flaw is huberus: he taunted Cyclops after he escaped. That's why Posiedon hates him, and makes his life miserable.
