Ix+1I + Ix-2I ≤ 2?

We have: IAI = I-AI -->> Ix+1I = I-(x+1)I = I-x-1I
Ix+1I + Ix-2I = I-x-1I + Ix-2I
We also have:
IA - BI ≤IAI + IBI ≤ IA + BI
So, I-x-1I + Ix-2I ≤ I-x-1 + x-2I = 3
I think you should change your maths problem into: How do you solve Ix+1I + Ix-2I ≤ 3?
Hope this help
