Ok this is a middle-age pair who are dating (he’s like 45 and she’s like 38). They have been dating for over a year. When he goes to her house, she invites him home-made food. However, when they go out, each one pays by himself/herself. Today she took her son to his barber shop, and she paid for the haircut. Does this is completely normal in American culture? What do you think? (I welcome all answers but I’m more interested where I live, so please mention your countries).
