A year and a half before we got married, our best friends got married. My husband was best man, and along with the rest of the groomsmen, they planned the bachelor party. My husband was so excited about being able to get a stripper for the party because it was something that he had never experienced before and he was curious. I just said, have fun and expected to have a quiet night to myself while he went out with the guys. Around 11 that night, i got a text message saying "I hate strippers. I feel so uncomfortable." He ended up texting me for a good 2 hours, until the strippers left, and then he went back to the party to hang out.
For his bachelor party, the best friend that had gotten married was my husband's best man and he knew how my husband had felt about strippers so he just didn't get any.
At the root of it all...i didn't really care either way. I trusted my husband not to do anything physical at the first bachelor party, so that equates (in my mind) watching strippers with watching porn, which i could also care less about. I'm not all gung ho about them...but i'm not opposed to them either.
To be fair, i wnt a stripper at mine, so i can't really say anything bout that. But if ur not getting a lap dance from the male stripper why should he have a lap dance from female stripper. But in the end hes mate will do all the planning behind he bk so there will be a lap dance anway. Maybe u should let him if u really trust him. I be upset bout it.
Ehhhhh I wouldn't like that very much at all, lap dance or not. But my boyfriend doesn't like strip joints or strippers, so it's different. If that's your fiance's kind of thing, then I would talk to him and tell him what boundaries he needs to set so you can feel comfortable and he can still have fun at his party.
You should tell your fiance that his friends are pigs. Many an engagement has been destroyed by strippers at bachelor's parties. If he accepts strippers at his bachelor party he will most likely go to strip clubs for business luncheons or whatever. When did this become acceptable behavior. If your husband respects you the tiniest bit he will tell his friends to go to hell. If you allow him to go through with it you're inviting disaster into your marriage - the acceptance of behavior unbecoming of a healthy husband/wife relationship. Absolutely no good can come from this. Be strong and let him know from the outset you will not tolerate adulterous behavior inside the ring of your marriage. I know it's bothering you or you wouldn't ask the question. I'm a father and I would dismember my daughter's fiance if he pulled a stunt like that. He'll tell you that everyone does it, but they don't. Let them go get drunk, sing karaoke, streak through the mall, whatever, just don't let him begin your journey with a dance of deception.
I draw the line at treating our marriage with respect. And going out to ogle naked women or getting a lap dance to celebrate the impending nuptials is not treating our marriage with respect.
So, no strip club, no stripper, no prostitute, no lap dances.
Let the man have his lap dance. There is absolutely no reason to be jealous of a stripper. He can't touch her, he can't do her, it is all about the money for her and she doesn't want your man. IT IS JUST BOOBS...you have some too.
To me: strippers are degrading and never acceptable. Men are turned on visually, and no way should he be deliberately getting turned on by anyone except me. It's a form of cheating. If my guy thought they were acceptable, the relationship would never have progressed as far as us getting engaged.

It was a non-issue at his bachelor party.

I think it depends on what they do
If they just strip, that would be fine
No lap dances for the groom to be
There are many male strippers at bachelorette party, I see nothing wrong unless there are lap dances
I think if it's Just for fun, no problem
Are you going to have a stripper
Lap dancing and touching I think is wrong for either sex

I would let the dancers do a PG lap dance.
Tell your fiancé he can't touch he can only look. Kinda like a human museum.....

You, in the end, will be his beloved wife not the stripper. It's about what you re comfortable with. Talk to him
