You could ask why there isn't Yahoo Poland or Yahoo Russia which are two populous Euppean countries, or no Yahoo Colombia or Chile or Venezuela. Because there are not enough Yahoo users from those countries and/or there is not a big digital advertising market

It also depends on the laws in those countries as to censorship and content control. For all those reasons Egypt and Nigeria are really not money making areas.
