How can I support my mothers who is alone, can’t find a job and doesn’t speak English [please read]?

My mom is a British citizen who originates from Nepal.

My father was English and about 25 years ago when he worked in Nepal he met my mom and eventually after 5 years they moved to the UK. Now my mom never learnt English because my dad spoke Nepali and she was a house wife.

We had a good business but it all went downhill after the death of my father and we hardly have any money.

Now I am 18 and my mom is 53 and she is on jobseekers allowance. Because of her language skills I am the one who does job searches for her so she can still get her benefits. But I plan on going to university to another city and I won’t be able to carry on looking for work for her and filling in the forms!

I am scared that since she can’t read English and search for some sort of job, they will obviously cut her benefits as she has to show proof of job searching – and that will cut off her rent and income.

Then she will be homeless and I will be a university trying to survive on little money myself!!

What advice would you give me??

Do you think if I explain this to the jobcentre they can let her off? I doubt it – please advise me

Update:

No we live in the UK - i was born here

My mom can't go back to nepal

She doesn't really have any higher education qualifications - just secondary school (which was like 40 years ago) and she doesn't have the copies of them :/

I've been job searching for her for the past year and she never gets accepted :/
