Hi there,
I hope one of you ladies out there see’s this & can help me, this is probably a bit gross, but I don’t know who to ask, so:
For the last 2 weeks/just over 2 weeks, I have been getting yellow / clear sort of stringy vaginal discharge, a lot like egg whites, doesn’t smell, doesn’t hurt to pee, feel normal, just worried about what it is.
I got tested ages before this happened & I had Chlamydia in may, I took the antibiotics & all clear, no change/normal till the two weeks ago that this happened, and surely if I did still have it, this wouldn’t all just come on suddenly. I been doing the scare mongering thing & looking on google & symptom checker, driving myself mad & having sleepless nights worrying.
I read it could be early signs of pregnancy, although I wasn’t due to have my period/ had missed one yet, I did a test that said I wasn’t (although it was quite an old test I had,& like I said I did it just over two weeks before I was due) yet saying this, its around the time now that I am due for my period & I have been getting the usual backache & just feeling like im going to come on
Anyone out there with the same or that can help can settle my nerves?
Thank you
sarah x

2 weeks before your period is ovulation time. The cervical mucus that accompanies ovulation is more sperm-friendly than at any other time in the cycle, and it resembles egg whites. Women who are trying to get pregnant actually watch for the egg-white cervical mucus, because tells them when they are most fertile.
That's probably what's going on with you. There's no set amount of discharge per person, it can vary from month to month. And it is not a reliable sign of pregnancy or disease, either. But take a NEW pregnancy test if your period is late.
If you are testing for pregnancy, you must have been having unprotected sex again, which does leave you open to catching chlamydia for a 2nd time.
I'd say go to the doctor honey, like you said, you are worrying yourself sick about this and it might actually be nothing serious.
Google will scare you to death, better to find out the truth and put your mind at ease.
Good luck;-)
go and see the doctor so you know for shore they will be able to do a better test for pregnancy, and have more of a idea what you might have going on at lest they have a better chance of finding the answer,
Good luck
get it checked out.
