I had a singing gig this A.M. with some precious tots. As if THAT wasn't wonderful enough, some more joy came my way. I went to the hosp. for some Physical Therapy. I had my guitar with me...(In the car it would haver melted!)
Okay....I got talking with this volunteer about my MattBaby stories. She loves him, too. Even a man who stopped by to listen said that Matt "is THE man!"
I got so carried away telling them some of my stories. Finally the man said, "I'll find you a bed in C Pat.(Physc Ward!!)
He wanted me to p[lay the guitar. I ended up playing the song that Sunshine MacGillicutty sings to Matt in one of my stories.
I am SOOOOO happy.......Songs are flowing out of me,stories are flying off my keyboard and I can almost feel my aura...it is THAT strong and healthy, these days.
Okay........ Now it's YOUR turn to tell us what makes YOU◄
sing.
Hey!!! Let's do a duet♫

I had a big scare this last week. I had to have a lymph node biopsy because my doctor thought my cancer might be back.
IT WAS BENIGN!!!!!!!
Now that's worth singing about! More time with my hubby and son!!!
Girl, the only place I sing is in the shower. If I do it anywhere else, somebody always calls the dogcatcher LOL So you do not want to do a duet with me! Trust me on this. But I think I know something not many others know. You're planning a TV series with James Arness arent you??? You're gonna publish your stories aren't you?? And rumor has it you're gonna do a CD. Can't say where I heard it but as one of the biggest fans of your stories I think I should have an autographed copy of that CD. Whatcha think???
Toddlers make me sing. I am raising two and I run the church nursery on Sundays. I spend a lot of time with toddlers and we sing a lot. I love looking at the world through their eyes.
Do you know that a toddler loves going to a big theme park in the rain (as long as thee is no thunder and lightning). Do it sometime and you will see how many adults run for cover while me and my crew sing and dance our way around the park in the rain.
Incidentally, we don't like umbrellas unless it is raining really hard.
Edit: I'll sing with you' Happiness, is 2 kinds of ice cream, finding your skate key, telling the time. Happiness, is trying to whistle, tying your shoe lace the very first time. Happiness, is playing the drum in your own, school band, and happiness is walking hand in hand.
Take it Sunshine......
I don't sing out loud often (most people would applaud that decision) but I 'm always singing along with radio when I'm driving down the road and of course, with the songs I have posted on my 360 page (Shameless plug, here). classic rock just makes me happy to listen and sing to. I'm ready for our duet, anytime!
I would love to do a duet with you but alas my singing is well not so good...When I am happy (hearing from my friends) I do try but my kids say "Mom knock it off" or just flat out tell me to be quiet, but I quickly remind them I am the boss whether they like it or not! And I get my way.
Blue sky sun shine what a day to take a walk in the park,
Ice cream day dream 'til the sky becomes a blanket of stars
My Grandchildren make me happy and we sing together. Would you believe that we sing You Are My Sunshine ( honestly ) and a lot of old Celtic tunes. Sometimes we even dance!!!
Nope. I liked it till a former economics professor walked into the college room each day making a song that song. After an entire semester of it, i grew to become into burned out. yet, i admire economics.
I have sometimes felt like that...but I quickly suppress it by turning the TV to fox news and watching for a while...that helps me regain the proper grimness with which to face the day....and saves my reputation as the grumpy hermit of the apartment complex...
thank heavens for natural disasters and the evil of men
muhwwaaahaaahaaa
but I have been known to hum in the shower..."Battle Hymn of the Republic"...
I am doing that right now; my boss bought me a brand new computer. I just finished setting it up, wooo hoooo!
