It is so. Do we not serve ourselves as well? My right hand serves me and what I tell it to do, just as the right hand of God (Jesus) serves the whole of God. Jesus is God in the flesh, so serving the Father is serving himself. I pick up food to eat and serve myself toooo much, LOL.
So Jesus can be God and a servant of God as well.
bless you.
True understanding comes from the Holy Spirit which tells us Jesus is God. Only through the spirit of God can we know this is so. Many say this is not so, meaning they do not have the Holy Spirit of God in them. Seek God through Jesus and you can learn more than you now realize about God and all things.
Yes Jesus is the servant of God, He came to do the Will of Him Who Sent Him! That is to bring in everlasting righteousness. That is bring a people who are born of the Spirit, and then filled with the Spirit to be empowered to proclaim Jesus to the world.
Given that there were so 80+ gospels extant at one point, it probably does say that in at least one of them, probably more, but I do not have specific references.
Check "Lost Scriptures" by Bart D. Ehrman and also "The Complete Gospels", Robert J. Miller, Editor. The latter dates back a while, so the Gospel of Judas is not in it, but it is pretty comprehensive otherwise.
In the King James Version it is "His Son Jesus". Don't know where you got that servant from? Must be some Muslim trash. Actually, all of the Koran is trash.
Jesus was a servant of God. He came to show us how to be perfect servants of God. That, in no way, contradicts the fact that he was also wholly divine. He's God; he can do stuff we can't understand.
namely Jesus Christ is the Lord Himself, namely He is the Lord in the expression "Lord God", He is the main Minister of (the) God's Salvation for (the) humans/soul-beings
Ecclesiastes 5:9 "Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.",
Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."
"...CHRIST JESUS...being in the FORM OF GOD, thought it not robbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
