I have met this person that doesn’t drink water at all since this person was a teenager, probably 20 or more years ago. This person drinks 4 cups of extra large coffee and many cans of soft drink everyday. This person is huge and both hands are shaking while doing something. I think this person health is totally ****** up lol… I have told this person many health issues that related to not drinking water, and recommended a way to solve the problem, but this person just don’t listen lmao… ^_^ (Caffeine addition probably lol…).
*(Above story was told by that person)
Update:I never have thought that these kinds of people do exist. Seriously lol… and that person doesn’t drink water because the water has no taste lmao… What is so difficult just to drink a cup of warm water? If the water has no taste then adds a little tea to it or drink the water quickly, how difficult is that? Lol… Water phobia? Go see a hypnosis, how much is that gonna cost? A couple of hundred dollars max lol…) ^_^ (Health is number one, no health no life lol…) We have water for granted lol… Don’t forget that many places around the world have little or no water at all, and you get it for free. Water could be the next resource that many countries will fight for in the near future after oil. ^_^

I don't have to meet one. I am one! I am over 30 years old and I don't drink water. Haven't since I was 17 years old. Started when I got very very sick from drinking contaminated water from a water fountain. I thought I was gonna die and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. A friend of mine had the same thing and he was unfortunate and passed away. Since then, I really avoided water although the water I use for the coffee comes from the faucet at home. It's the phobia I guess. Health issues? I should know better since I work in the ICU as a nurse, right? I try sometimes to take a sip but I just could not drink a whole glass of water.
And fortunately, I'm not obese or overweight. I run a lot and joined a few marathons as a matter of fact. I play tennis, racquetball and do mountain biking. I hike with my beagle as often as I can.
They actually did a study over a period of time for those that drank water and those who didn't drink water.
The results found that those who did drink excess water had no noticeable differences from those who drank no water at all.
I think the idea was that if you drink lots of water it cleans out your system from the inside out, and in fact it doesn't do that.
Everyone gets significant water intake from other sources other than straight water, such as juices, apple (is loads of water), and other various sources, so even if the person isn't drinking straight water they are still getting their water else where.
On the other hand a person who drinks nothing but coffee and soda is of course going to be shaking constantly because it's loaded with caffeine in both cases, and sugar! It's like a kid who's eaten too many candy bars, flying off the walls. Great mix for diabetes in the future.
Yes! This has become a new craze with Americans (don't worry I'm an American myself!) these days. They totally replace good old water with caffeine and I think its crazy.
I used to work at a grocery store and I became disgusted with the number of families who buy one 12 pack of soda for EACH familiy member and absolutely NO water.
Then they wonder why they're always gaining weight. I myself am obese, but more likely than not I'm buying and drinking the biggest bottle of water I can find. My friend is obsessed with her weight and yet she buys on average 3 single bottles of Dr. Pepper soda in ONE day!
I dont know when this trend started taking over, but people need to stop. Caffeine can have serious effects on your heart and your body needs water to survive.
I don't drink water and never have, because I've never liked it. The only time I'll drink it is when I'm ill because I can't have anything else. I wouldn't say I'm unhealthy, then again I'm not massively healthy either. I feel just fine, although I wish I did like water because it's cheaper and easier and no doubt has some benefits.
"It's not merlot and Ritz they're serving; it's the Flesh and Blood of Jesus. No, really." " The 14 Stations has nothing to do with TV." Priceless. I am forwarding this to my father. I thought I found a loophole when I announced I would be giving up meat for Lent one year. My father informed me that since I was a vegetarian, it didn't count ;).
Diabetics can eat anything a non-diabetic can eat. You just have to make an adjustment for carbs/sugars. Learn here https://tr.im/p8wa2
It is better for diabetics to eat slow burning carbs: potatoes, peanut butter, vegetables, breads, dairy products, etc. VS. fast burning carbs: candy, sugared soda, cakes, ice cream, anything high in sugar. Just know what your carb/insulin ratios (how much insulin you have to give yourself for the amount of carbs you are intaking) are. Adjust according to the amount of carbs(sugars) you are intaking. And, you should be fine. Natural sugars are better than processed sugars.
Yes my ex-girlfriend rarley ever drank water. Every 6 months or so her doctor would tell her she had to she would drink one bottle and return to her normal habits. I cant say that it really affects her tho...
