I'm guilty of doing this. I apologize publicly for all the times I've said yes to a guy when he asked me out, and then didn't respond to his texts later. There are a couple of reasons. One is that I've felt put on the spot when a very nice guy has asked me out. Because they're so nice, I don't want to hurt their feelings, so I just instantly say yes, because saying no creates an awkward moment, and I just figure that not answering later on will give them the hint. The second reason I've done it, is because I was drinking at the time the guy asked me out, and then later after I sobered up, I realized that I wasn't as interested as I thought. And again, it's really hard to tell a guy you aren't interested- you don't want to crush their egos, or make them think there's anything wrong with them, because most of the time there's not- I'm just not feeling any chemistry. I KNOW it's better to just say no right off the bat if I'm not into it, it's just harder to say no than to just let it go and not answer.

This is why you don't, and I mean don't get attached to a girl who just gave you her number; anything can happen and that is why you play it casual. It sounds like she's playing the games, and I don't mean PlayStation 3 games.

from my personal experience i have never done that, only if i had no credit or my phone was off but i always explain the next time i see them, so maybe she had no credit...?

maybe they like to have some romance for some time..and taste another one :D
