Okay, you are never gonna` believe this, but, I was walking through the park last night and 'GREAT BALLS OF FIRE, a 'GHOST RIDER 'rode up to me on a horse as fast as 'GREASED LIGHTENING'! He looked me square in the eye and spat out....i will not be 'GIVIN` IT UP`!!!!! I was taken aback at his anger and felt compelled to ask....give up wut? He smiled and said why, I`m talkin` about the 'GREEN, GREEN GRASS OF HOME'.....I had to grin as he rode off into the sunset singing 'GOD SAVE THE QUEEN'. Good luck, cowboy..i said to myself.
I'm in, just givin' Natalie a bath!
OK, song list:
1. Green Eyed Lady [Sugarloaf]
2. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road [elton]
3. Go Your Own Way [Fleetwood Mac]
4. Give Me The Night [George Benson]
5. Glad All Over [Dave Clark Five]
6. Golden Years [Bowie]
To bid adieu, to say goodbye, yellow brick road [2] is to admit to yourself that you've abandoned your silly childhood dreams; you've learned that things don't always go your way. The green eyed lady [1] of jealousy has also been dismissed, you've matured and become truly in tune with yourself, and capable of empathizing with others.
You can go your own way [3] now, embarking upon your golden years [6], sure of yourself, of who you are, where you've been and where you're headed. "Give me the night" [4] you say, "the twilight of my life!" and you feel glad all over [5]. You reach into you pocket, whip out the yo-yo and start zipping it around the world, walking the dog, every trick in the book at your fingertips. Chewing a huge piece of Bazooka, reading the comic, blowing bubbles. Free to be a kid again.
