Abram was born in the city of Ur of the Chaldees (Babylonia), located in the Tigris and Euphrates River Valley region, sometime between 2050 and 1800 B.C. His named was later changed to Abraham.
What had taken place with humanity between the time of Adam and Eve and the time of Abraham? Any guess why so much time without contact from Divinity?
I know the story about Abram. It is prior to him that I am interested.

You forgot about the story of Noah, and the Tower of Babel. God was involved in both of those stories. I think the timespans were due to God allowing the Earth to populate (and repoplulate after Noah). But just because it is not written in the Bible doesn't mean God wasn't involved in lives of men and women between them. The Torah (or old Testament for Christians) deals with the bloodline of of Jews. There were other groups and populations in the world.
Another good question would be "Why does the Torah tell the story of God flooding the world to rid it of extremely evil people, yet the Chinese have an observation of a great flood sited in their history, and they were around before the estimated time of the flood?"
Read the earliest chapters of Genesis, chapters 1-11. Historians are not agreed on whether those chapters are history or legend and oral tradition. At one time they were thought to be actual history. Fundamentalists still believe that. Archaeology has given historians information about early Mesopotamian cultures, clay tablets dating to about 5,000 years ago.
The book of Genesis covers all of this.
A lot of incests... (sorry, don't want to hurt feelings but I couldn't help it, hope you have a large sense of humour).
I think that is when the dinosaurs lived.
Who knows. It's all a hoax.
