Okay -- despite reading the play, reviewing it in class, checking your notes, and making some stab at an Internet search, you've come up with *zilch*. It appears that what you need most is *focus*.
(1) What actions did Macbeth take that seriously affected the plot? This includes not only his own actions, but those deeds carried out under his direct orders.
(2) For each of those actions / orders, how did Macbeth decide to take the action, or which alternative to choose? Who advised him in these decisions (include at *least* the witches and Lady Macbeth).
(3) How much control did Macbeth have in each of these decisions? Where he did not have personal control, what influences did he have from other people and from fate?
Finally, keep in mind that this was *intended* to be a tragedy. Back in those days, this meant that fate and/or personal traits (which led to mistakes) doomed Macbeth from the opening curtain. "So foul and fair a day I have not seen" sets the tone for five acts.
Got it? That's the basic outline of your essay. Obviously, I can't set up the events and details for you, because that would simply be cheating. However, once you get the essay outlined, you could try posting again for a review of your work and perhaps an alternate point or shade of opinion.
