Sounds like the seed that fell on the stony soil in the parable of the sower in Matthew, Chapter 13. Maybe these are the apostate. The good news is that anyone who is actually concerned about that is probably okay and should refer to 1 John 1:9.
No, it doesn't mean that at all. It is to HEBREWS, that means, Jews, and he is warning them to not go back to the law and leave grace.

Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.
.
The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death
What it means is that people who have distanced themselves from God no longer have the grace of repentance, and therefore cannot be forgiven. They cannot be forgiven because they have rejected the means of repentance and forgiveness.
It means that they were forgiven at one time, and then rejected Christ, committing the unforgivable sin. For them, their sin of rejecting Christ means that they can no longer expect an eternal life with Christ at any time in the future.
That is a much debated subject within The Body of God's Church...... I completed the Salvation process, and received God's Gift of Salvation May 6th 2000 at the age of 53... I have yet to sort out all that I was given in the instant.... I am still suffering the consequences of my actions prior to my Salvation.... and I have many moments of weakness in my faith.... I still have a lot to learn ...... to respond properly to your question would take a lot longer than the 19 1/2 years I have been dealing with my own questions.... The "once saved, always saved" side of the issue is the position I have taken... based upon my own Salvation experience............... generally I do not participate in debates/argument on the issue..... God deals with individuals one-on-one and personal.... how he will respond to you I can not know...... those of us of The Body of God's Church will have to wait for our post graduate studies in Heaven to resolve such issues.........
I accept contact at... [email protected] ... for anyone with a basic, honest question about the God stuff.... I try my best to respond with an honest answer to the best of my ability.
Actually, your statement implies too much that GOD Is somehow unwilling to forgive. The verses you cited are describing people who leave GOD no place to forgive them because they choose to despise the ONLY actual Source of forgiveness by seeing it as mundane. Basically, if you can look at divine power or blessing itself and see only something mundane, divine power has no meaning to you and no effectiveness. This is the 'untraversable chasm' described in Luke 16:26, which cannot be crossed because we have interpreted GOD right out of our reality, even if He Is right in front of us.
There are parallel verses in Hebrews 10:26-31, and Hebrews 12:15-17.

Yes, and until they have the mind-set of 1 John 1:9.
What it means is that people who have distanced themselves from God no longer have the grace of repentance, and therefore cannot be forgiven. They cannot be forgiven because they have rejected the means of repentance and forgiveness.
NO THAT IS NOT WHAT IT MEANS

Hell Yeah - Do you think Calvin was some kind of idiot

Its ancient superstition and as such is meaningless.
