This guy i like asked me out and i was so shocked i accidentally said "no".when he left he looked a little mad.then after what happend in class they would make us do like groups and he would always ask if he could sit by me.so asked my friend to ask him if he likes me.and he only likes me as a "friend"..so iam confused does he like me or not?

He sounds like he still likes you and only told your friend that he likes you as a "friend" because he doesn't want to tell his true feelings (why should he to your friend?). Approach him and tell him it was a mistake, and you'd like to go out with him.
Well he asked you out so he likes you, He might have been embarressed to admit to your friend he likes you.
i would say he likes you, but he may be a bit embarrassed after you turned him down :) good luck with it :)
