I think some people don't even like to look the word Special Education let alone this section. I have a small form of Epilepsy and when I was in Elementary School I myself thought that if you where in Special Ed. that means that you were special. In a way you are I guess... now.
But to back to your question. I think sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. It all matters on who you are dealing with. The people who like there jobs and are fond of what they do, those are the people that dont care who you ae no matter what you have.
TEACHER(S) I noticed when I was always dealing with those people who thought they could fix my issue (I laugh at that now) that they give what you give out. Like they will help you if you ask for it.
PEOPLE/STUDENTS - Yes I think they might. It all matters who you talk to.
My friend looked at me after I got neurosurgery and said your Frankensteins monster or the the time she called me to tell me that her baby's in the ER and she said "he's f*cked up like you".
