It should be admissible for a husband to make a comment about another woman as long as it's a general appraisal and never a comparison to his wife. For instance, he can say "That woman has nice legs" or "She has pretty hair" but that should be the extent. Conversely, you can equally say something about a guy's physique or his hair and not cause your hubby to feel slighted. A lot depends on how a comment is made and the extent the subject continues. My wife of 45 years has actually pointed-out girls with especially nicely shaped legs because she knows I admire them. As the old saying goes, "I can read the menu even if I can't enjoy the meal". lol
Well, if it's something like, "This chicken was amazing!" or something like that, then you might be a little jealous. If it's that, then just tell him that you would like it more if he complemented you more often.

That would bother me as well... but I tolerate it in my relationship, TBH. Some men don't see it as wrong. I think they are simply not as sensitive.
