crying rarely makes me feel right. I actually for a long time never cried. Even at my grandmothers funeral.. i loved her so much... but i sorta just accepted it real quickly... I didn't cry until I saw my grandpa sitting with his head down like it was the end of his world. I realized that grandma meant more to him than anyone as well... it really was a part of his routine... she poured so much life into our family it is really unreal.
I cried then for grandpa... it takes alot for me to cry... and it is normally for others.
Yes, I, like others, find it can be cleansing, hence, I imagine, the sucess of Weepy movies, bestsellers...etc
I have also noted an interesting side effect though...
My interest in sex is generally higher after a good cry.
Now don't take me wrong. I'm not talking about wild abandoned, wake the neighbours sex...
I mean, slow, gentle comforting love making.
I think in modern society, we sometimes have to artificially stimulate reactions in our bodies to satisfy a need for comfort that we initially didn't recognise.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that we should listen to our bodies more.
Sometimes I feel that the advances that we've made have been directly combatant to our inner need for love...
Definitely. Its good to cry. Even Dane Cook agrees. Sometimes there are days when you just need a good long cry. Its cathartic. And I always feel cleansed afterwards. Like all my problems are gone at least for a little while.

Yes, I do. Does it make me feel all right? Sometimes yes, but at times it leaves me so exhausted, I simply cannot think anymore and I drift off to sleep.
Hell, yes! Tears are useful... they are tools to regaining balance. When we feel the need to cry and hold it in, we throw ourselves further off-center.
