My soon got the weekend
Graduated boot camp on Friday AIT started Monday
Back when I was in (Navy) graduated boot camp on Friday A school started following Friday
Maybe, or, maybe not. My basic ended 1 month before my trade training began (5 weeks, actually) with Christmas in there, so, I was allowed leave. Often though, one course ends, and the other begins pretty much right away. And, the person has not really been in the military long enough to earn any leave.
Yeah
From my experience a soldier gets family day and graduation and then he has the option of traveling to AIT on his own or through the Military. When my husband graduated he had sadly only 3 days to get to AIT and we drove together and had to sign him out basically.
nope
No - you generally go directly to AIT.
He gets the day of graduation and that's it. It's Fort Leonard Wood.
Maybe, maybe not. All depends on his travel orders. He may fly out Sunday and then again he might right after graduation. If he does he can have to report back each night.
He will not be an actual physical therapist. That requires a BS in that field. He is a PT Specialist

He should talk to his TO about this and his TI can put him in touch with those in the know. How this works is each MOS has a school start date for each individual based on when they finish basic. That will in part determine if he has any time after basic and stays at Leonard Wood or not. Individuals are sometimes put in a casual status and wait there and while in that status have light duty days doing various menial tasks like cutting the grass, picking up trash, helping an office move furniture and equipment, etc. They sometimes can even take leave or request a day off during this as well. At times they are instead quickly transferred to their next base for AIT because their school is about to start and the quarters that those currently in AIT are being vacated because of their graduating and moving on. He might not even be put in casual status but instead offered a chance to take leave and then upon the end of that report for AIT. So he should see which of these three potential situations he might fall under and then based on that he and you can make better plans.
not necessarily. at best he will get limited free time that weekend. as in having to be back on base by 10 pm each night.
