determinar o ponto de intersecção das retas: x - 5y = 1 e 2x - 3y = 3

É só resolver um sistema, logo:

x - 5y = 1 (I)

2x - 3y = 3 (II)

Multiplica o (I) por -2, teremos: -2x +10y = - 2

Assim: 7y = 1 >>>>>>>>>>> y = 1/7

Substituindo:

2x - 3y = 3

2x-3.(1/7) = 3

2x - 3/7 = 3

2x = 3 + 3/7

2x = (21 + 3)/7

2x = 24/7

x = (24/7) /2

x = 24/14 = 12/7

Logo o ponto é (12/7 , 1/7)

y=1/7

x=1+5y

x=1+5*1/7
