Annie was sliding down the hill in a toboggan. She was having a blast. "Mama mia, holy moly.......WHOOPPEEEEEEE!" she yelled.
But then she hit a patch of ice. She was airborne for a good 2 minutes until she hit the ground with a loud thud. Her toque flew off her head and she rolled down the rest of the hill. Unbearable pain stung at her ribs, it felt like a knife slicing through butter. Her best friend Ray flew to her rescue. "I think there's adrenaline pouring out my ears! Are you okay?" She asked out of breath. "I'm fine, just fine...Not counting my two broken ribs." Annie cried. 'What do you mean?" Ray asked. "Did you see me fly?" Annie asked. "Well, yeah....That would explain it, I suppose." she replied.
Ray fished her cell phone out of her pocket and called 911. Soon an ambulance was there along with the local newspaper. The reporter took their picture. "Gawd, I hope that picture makes the front page" he said excitedly. After the girls explained what happened to the reporter and the paramedic the reporter asked the paramedic for a quote for the story. All the paramedic managed to say was "Well shiver me timbers, matey." Annie looked at the paramedic and asked "What are you a pirate?"
