The derrière has two major components and they are fat and muscle. If you feel yours is not large enough and want to make it bigger, you have two ways of doing that. Increase the muscle size and increase the amount of fat. Unfortunately both options are problematic with big liabilities and so much so that you'll probably ultimately settle for what nature has provided. Here's why.
Muscle - You'll have to work hard on a regular basis for a very long time to add muscle to your glutes. That means a very substantial commitment to exercise including heavy weights and some training with qualified supervision. And, you may not have the potential for the growth you want. The only way to find out is to do it. And, if you do get a large booty, it's going to be more masculine than feminine. Muscularity is a male trait due to testosterone and a smooth, round derrière is a feminine trait due to fat.
What is required to add muscle is heavy strength training and it must be continued to keep the extra muscle size. The amount of muscle a typical female can expect to add to her glutes in a month would be on the order of a couple of ounces max and probably a lot less. For more on how much you can add over time, watch this video --> http://www.youtube.com/user/scooby1961#p/search/0/... . And, remember, women have very little testosterone so you would gain much slower than a male of equivalent size.
Considering the effort required and the many months of hard training required before you can even expect to see a difference, you may be setting yourself up for a big disappointment and that's the reason you will probably decided exercise is not the way for you.
To learn how to exercise your glutes, go here and click on the exercises listed under Gluteus Maximus --> http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/HipsWt.html#ancho...
Here's a good Nautilus machine for hip extensions (glutes) which takes the load off the lumbar spine (lower back) --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4r5n5nM9ww
Fat - You can add fat to your butt. However, the only way to do that is to add it to your body and wait for it to appear in the booty. In other words, you may get fat in the belly, the hips, the thighs at the same time masking the increase in the size of your caboose. So, again, you may be setting yourself up for disappointment and will probably not choose this option either.
Most people with large butts got theirs from genetics...nature and not nurture. If, for example, you're a woman with an average derrière and want to look like Kim K, it's probably not going to happen. However, at least you now know your options.
Now, regarding your lifting idea, you cannot lift your butt. Muscle doesn't sag unless it is very old muscle lacking in tonus from old age. You can workout your glutes but if you walk and climb stairs on a regular basis, they get a workout routinely and more exercise isn't going to do any "lifting".
The reason butt lift scams are so popular is because women add fat to their bottoms and, when they do, it fills the lower hemispheres imparting a sagging sort of look to the butt. Then they look at that and think their butt has sagged when it's really only fat suspended below the muscle.
If you do a quick Google for "Butt lift" you'll see thousands of pages of junk information about a huge variety of ways to "lift" the butt. And, they are almost all scams. The only real butt "lift" is not even a lift. Check with any cosmetic surgeon and you'll learn that butt lifting is no more than fat removal...lipo of the derrière...or butt enlargement which involves implants which are very similar to breast augmentation.
Read this article about butt lifting --> http://plasticsurgery.about.com/od/postbariatricsu... and note the excerpt: "Butt lift surgery is usually performed on those with large amounts of loose, hanging skin on the buttocks and back of the upper thighs."
So, that should tell you what the saggy bottom problem really is and it has nothing to do with poorly developed butt muscles. It's really all about fat or the loose skin left when the patient has lost the fat through diet which is usually required prior to surgery. So, the solution to saggy bottom is really fat loss and the key to fat loss is diet, not exercise.
Good luck and good health!!

Squats most deffffff HELP. It takes time. This isnt a sprint its a marathon that takes patience and comitment, But as fir a man if u want progreessssss fast use weights to do these squats ad other but exercises instead of using just your body weight. Also measure to let yourself know that you grew inches or not. Seeing yurself everyday it can be hard to tell if you made progress. Make sure you eat right as well. Dont eat junk just because u get fat. Only once a week should you eat junk. :)
