Blonde Powder And Crème Peroxide Developer, What Volume?
I have middle to dark brown hair and always bleached my hear blond at home. Now I want to buy blonde powder and a crème peroxide developer. There are volumes 10, 20, 30, 40 would be 30 best?
Why do people insist on coloring their own hair? Would you perform surgery on yourself? If you must, the maximum i would recommend is 20. Any higher will damage your hair. While you're at it, pick up the entire Extreme line made by Redken. It will repair the protein lost due to decolorizing and keep your hair a healthy balance of protein and moisture.
Fist of all I dont advise this.............................but if you must 20 is usual to bring hair up about 3 levels, 10 is only going to bugde it into a carmel copper color, 20 is pretty standard, 30 will brighten your blonds to a nice white and 40, well I dont advise you mess with that!!! 40 and powder bleach is pretty powerfull stuff and will burn!! Good Luck and dont let the orange color scare you you have to bring it up past the orange stage to get blonde!!
Depends how light you want to go, and if you already have any blonde in your hair already. i'd recommend 40 but if you do have blonde in your hair 30. when doing just your roots, just do your roots with 30/40, if ends are still brassy or you want to go lighter use 20 for lengths and ends, just for future reference.
Remember too much bleaching ruins your hair use plenty of treatments and condition well.
