You have the right to refuse anything that goes against your religion/beliefs. They can tell you what is best but you can refuse any treatment you want. I have a great Aunt who is JW and her son had surgery and needed blood, both his wife and Mother refused to allow a blood transfusion because of their religious beliefs and the Dr couldn't force them to allow the transfusion so the man died.
