you know man lear it this way when the systems gets heat its a possitive happen for it so consider it possitive.when it loses the heat he is dumb negative and losing anything!and when system works for other its so negative and when someone works for system its so possitive.and ΔE formula is:
ΔE=W+q then answer is possitive 247 + negative 489 wich equals negative 242
