That's just your perception. Hey, I'm in my 50s and there are days I don't feel like a real man. To be honest I think most men feel this way at some time or other. You ever hear the phrase "Fake it till you make it"? believe me there are a lot of guys faking it. Sometimes just pretending or acting like you're more manly can actually make you more manly. I think from boyhood most of us look up to a man in our life who seems manly so we imitate his behavior. There are times we can do a great imitation yet still not feel the part. We all have insecurities or doubt, it's how you deal with these feelings that's important. It's OK to have doubts just don't let them govern your life.

10 year olds don't usually have girlfriends.

And a lot of men don't have trucks.

Or a job these days.

at about 30 you'll really be one........the rest are ahead of the curve or pretenders......don't obsess on it, the secret is, everyone thinks that everybody else is having a better time than they are, the secret is, they're not......so know that and just take it as it comes.....

At 17, you are not a man yet.... Neither are your 17 year old friends. So no worries, there is time to catch up.

If you have a gf, and she doesn't say you are a p*ssy or treat you badly, then she must love you for who you are, not who you think you should be. And you don't need a truck to get a job.... You need a job to get a truck. You don't get to jump right to the top of the totem pole, you gotta start at the bottom and work your way up.
