Looking for a simple 120v timer so I can plug in a device and set the timer for like 60 minutes and it will then shut off the power .Not a programmable timer just like a simple egg timer set it to what ever minutes and it counts down .all I can find are programmable ones .only thing relatable would be like on a cloths dryer the timer shuts off the dryer after you set it .?

Search for "Analog Timer Relay". These can be rail mounted or fit into a relay base that can be screwed down.
They usually have a small dial on the top that can be set for the delay, then wire up to the instructions.
Usually that involves a push to make switch that will turn on the appliance and will then count down and turn it off after the time elapses.
Simple to set the time- turn the dial. But not as accurate as digital.
I think you can buy them with a pre-set time, so no effort needed if you always need the same time delay on things.
Last time I got one was 20 years ago, they are out there. You'll all so need to match up the amps it can carry as well as the volts. The one i got was 20 amps, so it could work with a space heater. So if the kids playing in the loft forgot to turn off the heater, the timer would cut it out.
do internet search for a "smart plug". these work over wifi with your Alexa, Nest, similar systems, and smartphone. You'll have to check the manuals to find one that can be turned on and then have it turn off after specified time. [Wouldn't it be great to just say "alexa, turn the light on for 45 minutes". ?? I don't have these, so don't know for sure it is possible -- might be some models do and others don't} -- Grampa
