Falcons fans,
Yahoo! NFL Sports Contributor Anthony Schreiber (related to actor Liev Schreiber?) proposed an INTRIGUING proposal:
A. Atlanta ☞ must ☜ jettison various expensive players for their losing season, NOW, and, .....
B. the following trades for picks help to rack up high talent and EARLY DRAFT PICKS for their future roster and eventual shiny, new stadium!
...ONE 4-PART QUESTION, ....
Q1. Do you agree with the aforementioned proposals:
➥ Trade RB Steven Jackson to either Packers, Cowboys, or Giants to nab early picks?
➥ Trade TE Tony Gonzalez BACK TO KC Chiefs so as to give him the BEST scenario for a Super Bowl Ring and to nab early picks?
➥ Trade WR Roddy White to the HIGHEST DRAFT-PICK Bidder, for the betterment of the Falcons' future roster and shiny, new stadium?
➥ Trade DE Osi Umenyiora to the HIGHEST DRAFT-PICK Bidder, for the betterment of the Falcons' future roster and shiny, new stadium?
✱ ~ all of the aforementioned were on short-term or 1-season only contracts

Trade 1) Packers and Cowboys have no need for Steven Jackson, and the Giants have no real chance to make the playoffs, with or without him (plus, Packers almost NEVER trade draft picks, it's how they operate). Just don't see that happening.
Trade 2) Yes. Chiefs could use him, and Tony deserves a shot at a ring. And it'd be a sweet homecoming for such an exemplary player and human being.
Trade 3) Possibly. Depends whose interested, but White is definitely expendable with their current crop of WRs. And there's lots of teams hungry for a dominant veteran WR. Depends on the picks available though.
Trade 4) No one wanted Osi except Atlanta. I don't really see that changing now. He just wants too much money for a team to shell out for him. If they can trade him, he'd be worth it (even though he's one of their only decent defensive players).
