I understand that they may be a part of history, but seriously, is this a fitting tribute to a man who tried to shun material things? And what exactly could someone do with a pair of old sandals?

I would pay £15,000 for yours Corny, negotiable
btw
At least he lived what he preached unlike George Harrison (living in a material world) and John Lennon (imagine) to name but two
btw Easy to say "All you need is love" when you live in a stockbroker belt mansion
I'd sooner make my own. Not that I can say sandal making is one of my skills. I sat and took my trousers up on the sewing machine the other day. I guess that's not a patch on homespun clothing that Gandhi wore.
I wonder if he made the sandals. Probably not, but it would be a nice thought. I hope a respectful person buys them.
I don't have the money and I don't think I have the space for a pair of old sandals. It's the ideas that matter.
Would I hell! I wonder what the Queen did with the loin cloth he sent to her as a wedding present. It wold have made a few decent floor cloths.
Lol at Andy. Never a truer word spoken about those two!
Nah, they probably wouldn't fit, he was only a little fella. I keep my old sandals in the cupboard, I suppose you could do the same with his.
I was gonna say yes, but only cos I read it as "Gandolf"
I wouldn't pay 15p for Ghandi never mind his cast off flip flops
If they were genuine I would gladly pay £15000 for them and cherish them as a memento of history's greatest men, symbolic of his simple, non violent approach that changed the World.
I wouldn't have given £15.00 for their owner,in his prime, let alone stale toe jammy old sandals.
EWW YUK !
Anyone who spends that kind of money on something like that has more money than sense.
Lol some people have more money than sense!
