About a month ago, I told the guy I liked that I couldn't text him anymore, because my grades were slipping and I am dealing with a lot of stuff in my life right now. (depression, cutting) and I told him that, and he lives in a different city than me because he moved a long time ago. And he said that it was ok, but I have been thinking about him a lot lately, and I feel like when I'm better (i'm getting there) he won't like me anymore, or like I shouldn't text him anymore cause it would be awkward? What do you think? Would a guy really wait like 2 months for a girl who lives 5 hours away from him? Should I just move on and forget about him?
Update:We flirted a lot, and he knew I liked him and I knew he liked me.. He was gonna visit my city this summer, to see family and stuff.

Just text him, although I don't think a relationship would be good because of the distance, I'm sure you can be friends.
I think you should try and text him back like nothing has changed. If he makes it awkward and it seems like he has moved on than move on yourself but give it a try and see if he still likes you if you don't you will probably think about it.
