I'm old now. I campaigned for Pete Buttigieg and cash contributed. I joined a BLM Facebook group. I've defended in Answers here and in Facebook discussion. I supported rent for a homeless family of four for about 6 months as they got back on their own. I provided food for people unable to afford their own. I helped an alcoholic give up drinking; 15 months now. There are those physically able and those who's spirit is there and tries to help. Don't berate those who help the less fortunate on a personal level as having to physically protest.

#1) Time flows in one direction. Learn from the past but don't dwell or regret. Each day is new. The future is yours to shape. #2) Things we control and things we do not and things we can influence in-between. Things we are responsible for and things we are not. Separate all things and thoughts by these lines, and do the best you can within them. Don't blame yourself for which you have no control. Don't apologize to yourself or anyone for that which you aren't responsible. #3) The goal for each of us is happiness. That means different things to each person in both what it is and how to get there. But, the common theme is simple to get happy and be happy. Determine yours, do it! #4) The rules - Obey the laws of society and the general social order. Be ready and accepting of violation backlash and penalties. #5) Your most valuable possession is SELF-INTEGRITY. Learn what it is, and treasure it. Many things will flow from there. #6) When something is over it can hurt you no more. From that point you can only hurt yourself over it. Think about what this means. This is just a derived bit from 1>5.
